THE Texture EDIT

Microneedling in Brentwood, TN

Reveal smoother, more youthful skin with The Texture Edit at Skin Edit 615

We use the SkinPen—the world’s first FDA-approved microneedling device—to improve your skin’s tone, texture, and overall appearance. The Texture Edit is ideal for addressing a range of skin concerns including acne scarring, fine lines, sun damage, dull tone, loss of natural texture, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), and enlarged pores. Safe for all skin types and ages, this treatment stimulates natural collagen production giving your skin a refreshed, healthy glow.

What Is The Texture Edit?

The Texture Edit is a microneedling treatment that uses tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin’s surface, prompting your body to produce more collagen and elastin—key components of firm, smooth skin. Whether you’re looking to even out your skin tone, reduce the appearance of scars, or diminish enlarged pores and fine lines, The Texture Edit is a minimally invasive solution that can be tailored to your specific needs.

Benefits of The Texture Edit

FDA-Approved Technology

We utilize the SkinPen, the first FDA-approved microneedling device ensuring safety and effectiveness. What does this mean to you? Sharp, polished stainless steel needle tips never drag across your skin leaving marks or bruising.

  • Stimulates collagen and elastin production by inducing a wound healing effect resulting in firmer, younger-looking skin.

Improves the appearance of acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, uneven skin tone, dull texture of the skin, enlarged pores, melasma, and post-inflammatory pigmentation. With so many benefits, you can see why this is a staff favorite.

There is minimal downtime. Expect mild redness, like a  sunburn, for 1-2 days and light peeling as your skin regenerates. Most clients are able to return to normal activities shortly after.

Get glowing skin without the need for invasive procedures or lengthy recovery times.

Our Texture Edit Options

At Skin Edit 615, we offer three leading neuromodulators to fit your unique needs:

Botox

“The OG”. One of the most well-known and trusted treatments for reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Xeomin

A highly purified option, free from unnecessary proteins, offering a great alternative for those looking for a softer, more natural-looking result. Fun fact: Botox and Xeomin were invented by the same person.

Dysport

Known for its ability to spread further from the injection point, Dysport is ideal for treating larger areas or tough to “freeze” areas, like the forehead.

What to Expect

Your Texture Edit experience begins with a consultation to assess your skin concerns and develop a customized plan. The microneedling session itself takes 30-60 minutes using the SkinPen, which creates tiny micro-channels in your skin to stimulate collagen production.

1

Day of Treatment: You may experience redness similar to a mild sunburn right after your session, but this typically subsides within hours. It is important to wash all of your make-up brushes and sponges today, so they will be fresh and bacteria-free when you go to use them the following day. Also, sleep on a fresh clean pillowcase tonight since you will have shallow, superficial wounds in the area treated for about 48 hours.

2

Post-Treatment: Over the next few days, you might notice light skin peeling or flaking as your skin begins its healing process. You may wear a mineral based sunscreen and foundation starting the day after your treatment. A radiant glow and smoother skin should appear within a week. Full results are expected in thirty days.

3

Healing Process: While there’s no major downtime, it’s best to avoid direct sunlight and strenuous activity for a few days to allow proper healing.

How Often Should You Get The Texture Edit?

For optimal results, we recommend an initial series of three treatments spaced one month apart. Afterwards, a maintenance treatment every 6-12 months will help keep your skin looking smooth and rejuvenated. This schedule helps maximize collagen production and keeps your skin firm and vibrant over time.

Plan Ahead For Microneedling

If you have a special event on the horizon, it’s best to schedule your filler treatment at least one month in advance. This gives your skin time to heal and ensures that you look your best when the big day arrives.
