THE WRINKLE EDIT

Botox, Xeomin, Letybo & Dysport in Brentwood, TN

Decrease the look of fine lines and wrinkles with "The Wrinkle Edit" at Skin Edit 615.

As we age, repeated facial expressions and muscle movements cause wrinkles to form in the face. Think of your skin as a piece of paper that is folded, once it is creased, it is almost impossible to smooth it out completely. We provide customized treatments using Botox, Xeomin, Letybo and Dysport to smooth wrinkles, give you a “well-rested” look and prevent future wrinkles from happening.

What Are Neuromodulators?

Neuromodulators, also known as neurotoxins or wrinkle relaxers, are FDA-approved injectables that temporarily reduce the activity and thereby tone of targeted muscles. By preventing muscles from contracting, these treatments smooth the skin and help reduce the appearance of wrinkles at rest and smooth out wrinkles in motion such as:

Our Wrinkle Edit Options

At Skin Edit 615, we offer three leading neuromodulators to fit your unique needs:

Botox

“The OG”. One of the most well-known and trusted treatments for reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Xeomin

A highly purified option, free from unnecessary proteins, offering a great alternative for those looking for a softer, more natural-looking result. Fun fact: Botox and Xeomin were invented by the same person.

Dysport

Known for its ability to spread further from the injection point, Dysport is ideal for treating larger areas or tough to “freeze” areas, like the forehead.

Letybo

Letybo is a newer, high-purity neurotoxin that relaxes the tiny muscles that cause wrinkles, offering a fast-acting and more affordable alternative to treatments like Botox.

What to Expect

When you schedule your consultation/appointment at Skin Edit 615, we’ll begin with a  conversation to discuss your desired result and a treatment plan to achieve them.

1

The treatment itself is a quick and virtually painless procedure lasting around 10 to 20 minutes. We use a tiny needle to inject the chosen neuromodulator into targeted areas.

2

Following your injection you may notice several raised areas in the injected regions that resemble bug bites. These are completely normal and should subside before you get home. We recommend you refrain from strenuous exercise, avoid wearing a tight hat or headband and avoid lying flat for 4-6 hours following your injections. You may commence regular activities the next day.

3

Within 14 days, you’ll notice smoother, younger-looking skin that lasts for up to three months. Because of the delay of onset, the full effect of the neurotoxins on the treated areas takes several weeks, so plan injections at least three to four weeks prior to important events. We recommend scheduling your next session before the effects fully wear off to maintain a youthful look year-round. Neurotoxins actually do prevent wrinkles if you get treated consistently. A muscle that is never “allowed” to move can never make a new, or worsen an existing, wrinkle.

FAQs About Wrinkle Relaxers

How long do the results last?

On average, wrinkle relaxers last around three months, but individual results may vary. Regular treatments help maintain a smooth, youthful look.

There’s little to no downtime with neuromodulators. You may experience slight redness or swelling, but most people return to their regular activities right after their appointment.

Absolutely! Many clients combine wrinkle relaxers with dermal fillers or a BioRe Peel for an even more comprehensive anti-aging solution.

If you are worried about bruising, you can avoid alcohol, NSAIDS (Ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, Aspirin), Fish Oil or vitamins containing A or E two to three days before injection. This will lessen the chances of bruising but be aware that bruises may still occur.
